I hope that Flanagan watched the Dearden play for Brisbane last night. His direct running game got the Broncos back into the game.
    ..it’ll be interesting to see

We may not have all the best on the field tonight but if the Tigers only beat the bulldogs by a field goal, it shows they’re shit. Our reserves play better than the dogs and we have a better tactician so there’s no excuse for losing.

Dearden is very sharp off the mark and can slice through defences very easily, whereas Flanagan is a lot slower with the ball thus far..

More hoping that he’ll play like Carney did in his Dally M year with us in 2010.

I don't think any half since has played quite like Toddy Carney did in 2010.

flanno needs to play with the league ability of johns and thurston, the brains of einstein, the compassion of the buddha and if he runs out with the breasts of sophia loren we won't complain.

I like the look of Deardon he is a strong defender and they look much better with him running the show than they do with Croft and Milford.
He takes the line on and has good footwork.

We get a couple of old hard heads back in JWH and bmoz today which will help us no end.
Hope the two big boys up front can get us over the top of the tigers pack and the class of the back 5 gets us home.
                    Easts to win.

No Keary would usually worry me but the Tigers are missing Harry Grant that's a bigger loss for them.

An injury free Easts win is all I’m looking forward to.

Time to step up and play much better today, despite our current injury predicament. We were uncharacteristically poor last week and so, to a certain extent, I expect a rebound in our effort and approach. Few errors please.

Fire up you mighty mighty Roosters.

                          Easts by eight.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Too many blocks missing from the Bondi Wall so not expecting to keep them scoreless, but hope to see us make the Tige's earn their points. No softies this arvo.
                            Roosters by 12.

Another mistakathon I believe will see us beaten soundly. We must respect the ball and complete sets or pay the penalty..

Again the lack of an inspirational example setter who radiates confidence is the major missing element in the halves and on the edges. I'm hoping that Hutch's experience and Flanno's post exile determination will at least keep things steady. This is probably the weakest that the team has been in years.
