If there’s any team who can win the premiership from 8th, it’s us. The biggest question is how do we best fill the void left by Radley. None of the three locks we have used since has been brilliant. Can’t get Angus and Toops back quick enough.

Give ourselves best chance finishing in the top 4.

The point I was making is that with the injuries we have, it’s fine if we lose some games. Finishing in the top 4 definitely would help but even if we don’t, there’s still a good chance of the 3 peat happening.

I was more concerned a month ago when the chooks were in red hot form we were peaking too early. We had to have a dip at some stage , obviously injuries are playing there part but we can't expect to carry top form through a full season.

stats need to be put in context. if you get a fringe top 8 team that consistently beats the bottom teams but struggles v the better teams then they're likely to struggle come finals time. you can't live on past performances but we're not a fringe top 8 team.

Exactly right. We typically have a down period mid season. Robbo is a master at managing our trajectory and run in to the finals, and I don't really expect much different this time around.

I agree KFR, along with ism's point about the narrow losses. We can't be up for every single game for the entire season. As long as we are in the top four come seasons end, and we get a few troops back, we will come close. Keep the faith.

Throw in the refereeing...what has changed with that? Not a lot.
We can't get restarts for genuine cases, yet the Knights got 7 in their last game, and their opposition got 1 solitary restart...so the lady who sits in the recliner chair informs me.
