  • Roosters vs Rabbits GF

Would love to see it in my lifetime (as long as we cream them).

Think the match would be the most hyped in living memory.

It would be the greatest day of my life if it happened and we beat them. The chances of it happening this coming season is slim.

On the other side of the coin, losing a GF to Souths would likely see myself move countries forever.

Yeah and imagine it was a tight game and they won from a bad refs call..

Actually its amazing that given the longevity of both clubs, and 30+ premierships from both ....that its been something like 60 years since they last even played each other in a semi !.

Agree with Horrie's comment above .....wouldn't like to see that Vermin team anywhere near a GF !

It would be great for the game. Like it or not Souths are heading in the right direction. They will be much better this year for having a new coach. Lang didn't keep up.

Yes they would ....and it wouldn't be to hard to work out whom they and the media would make out to be the good guys and whom they'd make the bad in a lead up to such a match !

My father's nearly 70 and there's never even been a first grade final between them in his life time.

Geez it would be tough to win that one & how much would it hurt all of us if we didn't win! I only say that it would be hard to win, because we would have every Souffs bandwagoner in the world against us, plus all Rusty's homeys, **** me Oprah bloody Winfrey would be barracking against us!!! That's not to mention the refs & the media, can you imagine what the penalty count would be, it would make the 2010 GF look fair!!!

Then again it would be the sweetest day of our lives if we smashed them '75 style, if we did that it would surely shut them all up & the bandwagoners would jump off quicker than what they jumped on, hmmmmm, bring on season 2012 I can't wait!!

we have a bad history of losing GFs against our nemesis's in recent history. I cried post dogs and dragons gf loses. I never want to experience that again against the vermin..my most hated team.
