I agree with this , I think the Panthers and Parra will definitely be in the top 4 with their draws and the storm are very consistent and rarely lose to low teams and should remain in the top 4 also.
Bad loss for the Knights today against the cellar dwellers and picked up season ending injuries.
We need to beat the likes of them the Raiders and Manly for the other top 4 spot.

Well I am glad how that has worked out, Angus looks like he would run through brick walls on a drip and do 11 minutes overtime.....

Garth Brennan is also available. If they were to with Brennan the Roosters could possibly then snare Cartwright & Ash Taylor.

I liked Pearce , could never fault his effort , he should have stay and learnt off the master , now looks more than likely he won't reach the potential he truly has , Coops could have taught him patience and better game management

I hate the Merge even more now. We were looking specials for Mary until that mob jagged a couple of wins.

If Pearce had stayed we would have had the perfect replacement for Verrills.

Pearce is a good player who IMO coulda been next level with Cronk's teaching (i.e. Kangaroos rep). Instead he was insulted by the suggestion and bailed. Maybe it was all a ruse to get rid of him but I don't think Robbo's full of shyte - IMO there was a serious development opportunity on the table for MP.
as much as I am happy we replaced MP with Cronk I can’t blame him for being insulted by the idea of Cronk teaching him, by that point he had played for NSW, played 2 GFs and won a premiership... not like he was a 20yr old learning his craft... and anyone who says they wouldn’t be upset in the same situation is full of shit... if the people I work for brought in someone to “teach” me how to do my job after being with the company for 10 years I’d quit.

I just reckon he could have learnt the subtle parts of the game , I wonder if in hindsight he may have made a different decision , but I also totally agree with what you say about he and anyone else would be hurt and upset by the situation

I think they'll do it. However, I think it is more important to finish in the top 2, which will be a lot harder. The top 8 is an imperfect system really, in that although finishing in the top 4 gives you the advantage of a second chance, those finishing 5th and 6th get an advantage over 3rd and 4th in that they have a home final first up.

If we're not top 2 then it'll be two of the Eels, Panthers and Storm that are. Two are fellow Sydney teams and the other will be playing at Suncorp.

I'm confident if we're fit and firing that we can beat any of them.

If we finish 4th, the others will be hoping to avoid finishing 1st tbh.

And your company wouldn’t look back either.

There is no doubt what ever 17 take the field they will be fit but there is no chance the Chooks can get their best 17 on the paddock this year so they are not at full strength & are they getting a injury to one our best 17 players every week.
