Exactly. Maubs has been way off his best all year. I am hoping it is just a lack of conditioning after knee injury.

Aubo & Lindsay so a ghost, and the entire team saw spiders on the football for the 3rd week running.

Why do the refs pick and choose when they blow an offside penalty. I’m sure in the first we were penalised for inside 10 as soon as they passed from dummy half. But then with Papalii they don’t penalise and tell the players to stay out. That call puts defenders in two minds and Papalii strolls through.

Lol this is probably the best team I have ever seen play.

A loss here and there is needed to keep your head on.

We were playing at an impossible standard to keep, Maubs will do his job, so will the rest of the side.

          Threepeat is inevitable.

I agree with both sides of everything issue on the issues we are having but what i do agree with most is Maubs last year is 2020 !! Now Aubs is going to play 80min at 12 in the absence of Angus and he will carve up starting every match warm and fresh then gets better as the game goes on!, Aubs isn't a young guy coming in cold sitting on the bench! Hes a old guy thats going to have to come in warm and fresh at the start of every game to adapt to the speed of the game an young opposition as the game goes on !
meanwhile for me SITILLI has to start with JWH an Collins back to the impact bench we are so a custom to, Liu an collins prop interchange , Lam hooker ( 20min a half ), butcher ( 5-10min a half ) interchange TKO !!

We really have nathing to worry about in terms of champion replacements!

im very confident than ever 3 peat !!!!!!

They were all waiting for the pass that was half a metre forward to be pulled up

Just my opinion but a potential send-off + a try is worse than a try.

Either way, he shoulda been onside!

Coulda, shoulda, woulda though... we just didn't have the momentum to win that game. The Faders were in survival mode (about to be kicked outta the 8), they had this belief that everybody was injured (1 player was out) and they'd pulled all the heart strings to get a fukking flight to Sydney (any other season they'd use a bus + I'd argue they shouldn't have been anywhere near the airport with COVID!) They HAD to win it after all that BS.

Like the Drizzle though, we'll get 'em back. That was their game of the season versus us on a really ordinary day (with key injuries, including one during the game - not a reserve-grade winger + an over-rated hooker). I get the sense we've got more room for improvement than they do (including our fringe players who are going to have to step up because the season will be over before our reinforcements return).

Hodgson, soliola, Bateman, simmonson, guler, horsburgh, Curtis Scott.

thats seven genuine starters, may not all be superstars, but the players they replace them with, are nufties.

but they did have the world’s best front rower in Papalii who beat our pack on his own.

Simmonson = a nothing winger (reserve grade... you'd want your two international wingers in Cotric and Rapana on the field, not him)
Horsburgh = a nobody (reserve grade)
Guler = a nobody (reserve grade
Bateman = not injured, he's leaving for England at the club's request to free up cap space
Scott = reserve grade + isn't injured (they've had him for a while and haven't used him... his head isn't with it because he knows he's facing charges for assaulting police, has sacked his lawyer and can't accept he's in deep shyte)

If I'm generous then Soliola and Hodgson are injured. In contrast we have:
                    - Crichton (MCL)
                    - Radley (ACL)
                    - Verrills (ACL)
                    - Smith (ACL)
                    - Tupou (syndesmosis)
                    - Butcher (ribs)
                    - Liu (tried playing with broken ribs)
                    - I've probably missed more...

The Raiders have the equivalent of just having Smith and Verrills out.

Hodgson is a gun as is Bateman and Horsburgh is a tough kid who has a good offload in him. Hyper has been good for them off the bench. They have been effected by injuries as much as we have, we weren't good enough.
Aubo clearly could be called out of the play by Sutton in the call.
Collins was slow coming across from the inside as he was on Wighton which led to the first try both him and papalli beat him with left foot steps.
