No thanks, Souffs game round 1.

    Don't mess with tradition. Please.

**** the Bulldogs... we don't owe them anything.

and nor does SBW or the NRL. Yes he walked out on them, as a kid, but they agreed to compensation and have prevented him playing in the NRL for the past 4 or 5 years. Since then he has been with 3 other clubs. F*ck the Bulldogs.

True, Chooks v Souffs already brings a big crowd. Chooks v Soufs and SBWs return would draw a huge crowd, If SBW plays for Chooks in 2013 our memberships and ground attendances will grow no matter who we play.

It won't be a grudge match for the Bulldogs players or coaching staff; they're all from different clubs.

The only one there with a grudge besides there dumb-fark fans is that weed Greenberg...he should throw a jersey on and get square with SBW on the field in person.

I am pretty sure the easts v souths round 1 match alternates each year as to home ground advantage. That being the case 2012 Round 1 is a souths home game. Easts will have the round 1 advantage in 2013.

If its tradition means you keep the system going.

No sense at all in giving that advantage to the bulldogs.

                Ditto !

If the Scums had of let him back early to play in the NRL, then they may have a case but they have enforced his no return before 2013 and so don't think SBW owes them anything.
Besides, no matter when he plays against the Dogs its going to be a really big event which will draw a big crowd, so why would it need to be Rd 1 ?

But he could also get injured in his one and only trial game and be injured for Rd 1

Spot on Hawkeye! As the Rock would eloquently put it, the bullscum can take their idea, stick it sideways and shove it fair up their candy ar$es!! Who the f**k do the bullscum think they are????? Todd Greenturd can go get f**ked!!!!!! This is how it should be done in 2013, we play $ouff$ round 1 at home and give them a flogging of a lifetime, then we play some random away game, then we play bullscum at home round 3 and SBW tears the bullscum a new ar$ehole with a man of the match star performance!! How do you like them apples Greenturd??????
The year 2013 marks the beginning of the Roosters next 'decade of excellence', and it will prove to be more successful than the last!

                      Here's looking at you, kid.

I only wish our management had such marketing foresight. Greenberg may have his faults but he is one switched on operator.

                          Chook.

Greenburg is king of the RL CEOs.
They should let it be and just make it the next game that SBW plays againsts the Dogs.
BTW in my opinion SBW owes the Bulldogs a huge amount, firstly because they took him and developed him and secondly because he shafted them. Regardless of compensation etc, the score is not even by a long shot

Try and be serious and you will look stupid

Absolute rubbish KB. The Bulldogs received a significant payout at the time and have prevented him from playing in the NRL until the end of 2012. This is a club that willingly cheated the salary cap to retain players. A club that signed a coach a year out from the end of his contract and worked with said coach to steal staff from another club. THey are dirtbags.

                              They are owed nothing.
