Nice one Tezza. However, I agree. What happened the last time we purchased the best player in the game? We got Freddy and we had a solid to champion team for years. The signing (??) of SBW is very exciting news and I believe he will be worth every cent.

Previously people had talked about SBW playing in the centres but IMO I see him playing second row. With Maloney and a new fullback our team should be dynamite in 2013.

The best part out of all of this is that SBW is coming back to league where he belongs instead of playing that other ridiculous game where he plays on the wing.

I believe the news of late. I believe that the Roosters (Nick) has done a deal with him. It's right up the Roosters ally to sign a big big name.

Being a total league fan even though I played union at school so I do understand it, it must be just so hard when the league boys go across to union for the massive money & then not long after playing union how they must miss the League. They all come back except for Gower & Schifoski who retired. SBW could make double the money playing Rugby in France & Japan comparred to what he will get in league.

I say good on him for coming back to the best game of all, & along the way if he can play top footy at the Roosters with minimal injury I will be happy.

Footnote: if it all falls over & he never comes to the Roosters it would not worry me 1 bit. Bring on Cordner.
