I get we all love the roosters on here, but to undermine the storms consistency over the bellamy era is ridiculous. bellamy is an innovator, and I still don't think I've seen a better coach at getting average players to play well within system look like worldbeaters , leave the system and be rubbish. oh wait Adam Blair, and kevin Proctor are calling ...this doesn't detract from robbo, but he isn't the only great coach in the league.

I guess it's a bit like how we rank the performance of race horses in the Melbourne Cup. You know, we count the number of times a horse wins the race, but just as important are where the horses are placed midway through the race.

one thing the article highlights is a possible weakness in bellamy's record - an inability to win the big games. even if you include his record during the salary cap stuff it's only 50% in gfs and his record in origin wasn't good.

Team of the decade means nothing, when you run on the field each week you are judged on that days performance, not by anything that has gone before. I don't care for stats like this, enjoy the moment, remember the wins and the losses, we don't need a cushion based on past history. We make our history as we go.

whole arguments a crock
that players mature and are better persons for the experience is enough for me
if titles are won along the journey well and good
fact is any Easts supporter can be philosophical...the trophy cabinet is FULL"Qui audet adipiscitur"
WHO DARES WINS

If you’re measuring dominance on consistency then I think it’s undeniable that the Melbourne Storm have been the most dominant side of the decade.
‘11, ‘12 & ‘16 were not good years for us. Storm just don’t seem to have those kind of seasons.
Dominance is only worth what you make of it though and 2 premierships in 10 years of dominance is probably just a pass mark. I wouldn’t call them the greatest side of the decade. That would have to go to the triple champs from the East.
Either way two extremely successful clubs and two very fortunate supporter bases. Bring on Thursday night footy.

I have no issue with the Storm being viewed as being on top. It is just opinion after all, nothing concrete comes of it. Despite what they state, premierships and the current trajectory matter the most, and we have it on them on both counts.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
