Actually I believe Freddy was on at least 800 when he first signed with us. But that was super league days of course.

I'm not sure what to make of the signing if its right. I'm with the pendulum on this one. It could be anything between a stroke of genius or a complete disaster. But may as well get excited about it. No doubt the guy can play. And he will dramatically increase the number of hot chicks that come to watch our games. The glass is half full folks...

Freddy was on 1m before the cap was introduced.

Anyone can do a medial, it's shouldn't be a reason not to sign a player.

          Sonny Bill Papworth.

It fits, both Kiwis, both Union converts, both injury prone.

Its chicken feed. Albert Pujols just got $250 mill for 10 years, to swing a baseball bat! Now thats a wage!

21 games in 2006 and 21 games in 2007 before pissing off in 08 with very few injuries in Union to mention since then.

If that's injury prone then most players in Rugby League are injury prone. You argument I assume is based on his 04 and 05 seasons when he was an 18/19 year old.

Personally, I dont want him and his hangers on at my club. I thought we were over the Mason, Carney & Myles era.

This bloke would put us right in the spotlight again and take our focus from footy. That's just my thoughts, in the end I support the RWB.

If his head isn't right, he'll be out more weeks than a tampon.

He will also supplement his income by joining the lucrative after-dinner-speaker circuit.

                            This.

I am very happy with this signing if it indeed turns out to be accurate.

People keep talking about the controversy he causes. What problems has he caused off the field since his walk out on league years ago???

The real positive thing is, just like with Fittler, we'll be getting him in his physical prime. You certainly couldn't say the same for the likes of Mason and O'Meley and so many other big buys over the years (Fulton is another who comes to mind).

                                I'm optimistic.
