Thats gotta come. You have to have a half that can threaten the line himself. Id say it will, at the moment he is playing the Cronk game of KISS.

Last nights game seen him come of age in terms of the toughness and pressure test.

    Passed with flying colours.

If anything is to come from last night (other than great close game match practice for the chooks) it's the confidence that Flanno should get from standing up for that kick and the confidence roosters fans should see in his potential to stand up in close moments

He seems a decent goal kicker which makes the worry we don't have one at the start of the season seem a lifetime ago

Flanno was awesome. Strong in D, controlled and composed in attack, and great goal kicking. The Cronk influence is taking effect.

And he's only played what, 15 games? Wait until he's played 50 games, then 100... The kid will be a great first grade halfback.

              Yeah he was very good.

I had my doubts about him, and was certain he'd blow that kick.

Took control at that moment and made the decision to go for goal , brave call and was obviously willing to live or die by the decision, the loss was bad but so many positives from that game

If he wasn’t any good he wouldn’t be playing for the Roosters he would either be teaching English in China or hanging out with Pablo Escobar.

My hate of a shark turned to instant affection when Flanagan joined us, just like Melbourne's Cronk. But you're always waiting for some sort of confirmation that he's earned your respect or worthy of unconditional love or whatever. Well that was last night for me. Nice one.
