Actually would have thought you having such a horrid past and now making great leaps in your life and tributes to you for that would think letting the frail and disadvantage members get first crack was a reasonable idea
Was just having a cheap stab at Bongdi. But hey if the dude's actually 80 and I get up in the ballot, he can have my ticket + drinks on me.

That said, a friend who is regularly the DJ and ground announcer for a team posted pics on FB of him attending a weekend game (as a supporter for another team). Dunno how he got it but he's a general sports fan (bigger on American sports I'd say) and knows a lot of people so coulda gotten it from somebody else who is a ticketed ?..it’ll be interesting to see

here’s a copy and paste of the email received
Dear #####
member tenure ## years
member no : #####
We’re thrilled to announce that the Sydney Roosters have secured a small number of tickets for Ticketed Members for the Club’s home game against the Parramatta Eels this Saturday night at Bankwest Stadium.
The NSW Government has implemented necessary public health orders for NRL matches played in June that restrict venue capacities to no more than 500 people, spread across Ticketed Members, Sponsors, Corporate Partners, VIPs, NRL and Venues.
We’re incredibly grateful to our 9,000 Ticketed Members for the patience and support you’ve shown our players and staff. To ensure that all Ticketed Members have an equal chance to access tickets to this Saturday’s match, we’ve decided to hold a ballot with Members drawn at random.
If you wish to enter the ballot, it’s important to note the following:- The ballot does not guarantee you a ticket, but a chance to win a ticket;
- To complete the ballot you will be required to enter your personal details including name, email, mobile phone and membership number, necessary under the NSW Government’s public health orders;
- We’re offering you the opportunity to request up to two tickets so you don’t have to attend on your own, however the second ticket must be for a 2020 Sydney Roosters Ticketed Member nominated when you complete your ballot;
- If you are requesting two tickets then you must enter the personal details of your accompanying ticketed member so that we can verify their Membership and comply with the NSW Government public health orders;
- Tickets won via the ballot are non-transferable and anyone other than the nominated member (and nominated accompanying ticketed member if requesting two tickets) attempting to enter the venue will be refused entry;
- Members can only enter the ballot once;
- Successful Members (and accompanying Ticketed Members) will be excluded from next week's ballot for tickets to the Dragons match to enable other Members an opportunity to attend.
The Club will hold a ballot for tickets to the Dragons game next week, so keep an eye on your inbox for your opportunity to enter.
Thank you for your incredible support of our great Club and we wish you good luck in the ballot.

> The only fair way is a ballot for all members that wish to enter. I say members only because thats the only certain way you know for sure its an Easts fan you're letting through.
Why wouldn't a ticketed member be an Easts fan? I think it's only ticketed members because we've paid to have our bum on the seat and would otherwise be able to watch for 'free'. They're looking to honour that payment as best as possible.
> Not a member so wont effect me but would be nice to see long term older member get a crack first . Pensioners , disable that type .
LOL maybe Bongdi will get a go if he tells them he's 80 and in a nursing home?
As for the pensioners, disable that type getting a crack first what happened to all lives matter

Unfortunately it is a bit of a no win situation. You cannot please everybody.
Personally, I like the approach where longer term members get a heavier weighting (regardless of membership level), along with a mix of disadvantaged and/or disabled members/supporters. Hopefully we can get back to normal ASAP, meaning this situation is the exception, not the rule.MRR or Rabid
Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
