Following the Sydney Roosters Round 5 match against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Angus Crichton has been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee.

Crichton received a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge for an incident that occurred in the the 10th minute of the match on Bulldogs player Lachlan Lewis.

About right. Wasn’t much in it but gotta protect the playmakers from blind shots.

Angus has been enormous lately. Nearly as enormous as his legs!
    ..it’ll be interesting to see

That was a strange moment. I think Angus thought Lewis was in possession for some reason. He looked a bit confused and annoyed.

He is sensational. In a team as good as ours players really have a chance to shine. Gus is killing it.

Agree with the comments on Gus, Robbo said in the press conference that we need to also work on the potential or 1/2 chance opportunities. I saw a number of times Keary backing up and an offload chance and could have been put away a few times. Thought Gus created a couple of these. Where does Gus's form leave Aubo?

Aubo takes his spot on the bench as a valuable utility - it's the role he occupied in 2013/14 when Cords & SBW were the starting backrowers.

He remains an invaluable member of the team and will no doubt start a few more games this year.

Geez I hate these carry over points from an early plea. They always come back to bite you at the end of the year, and you end up missing a big semi final match for the most piddly little indiscretions !

Did they make a rule change where to miss a GF it has to be 200 points? Or something like that... And it might be for specific charges too, of which 'dangerous contact' probably isn't one...

                      Does that include our playmakers?

                        Especially our playmakers!

The way we’re going, we will have to put Keary in cottonwool soon

Good news. So he should. There wasn't much in it.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

I have no problem with what Gus did, Victor did a similar thing which I also have no problem with & I also have no problem with opposition teams doing it to our halves.
