Did Skeletor compliment us during his presser?

'Trell scored his first try since joining the Bunnies (albeit against the Titans) so the journos were all asking Wayne about whether this was proof that 'Trell is better at FB...etc.

Skeletor gave his usual 1 word mumbles as 'responses' followed by extended periods of awkward silence. Then, a small spark lit up and outta nowhere (not asked to mention us) he said something like 'they had an even better fullback though [shrug] that's how it is'. Was that him complimenting our roster?

PS - at the end he said 'the only opinion that matters to him [Latrell] at this stage in his career is mine'. Cool story, bro :P

I think he was answering a question about if he thought Latrell could play fullback at NRL level which he replied he always did. I think he then said he played centre at the Chooks because they had a even better fullback.

He just stated what everyone who knows a little bit about Rugby League and the NRL already know.

Teddy is currently and in the past 2 years the best fullback in the world and the best player as well.

Bennett is just sticking with the facts. It is a bit of a stretch suggesting that it is a compliment TBH, but I appreciate your sentiments ism! That is as close to a compliment as you are ever likely to receive from anyone associated with that club, so we probably should take what we can!
