I’m not sure about that. We rarely do high scores. Like last Friday, I think we’ll score about 2 tries and then we’ll hand the ball to them and ask them to see if they can get through just so we can go through our defence drills. I hope I’m wrong and we can score 70+! Shame I can’t go to the ground. First time in years I won’t be there.

there they were, the broncos, cock a hoop after a couple of rounds. top of the table, doing victory laps, giving each other high fives. one week later they're not in the eight. a team with every advantage and they haven't won the comp in more than a dozen years. from memory we've won a few lately. i hope we put a million on them.

“They” will keep them in it and give them a million chances to win it, the bookies are giving them no hope at $5.00 already, apart from Haas I don’t see how they score or even trouble our line Haas is a beast and the future of how props play, however he has nothing to put our runners in two minds no mongrel, no point trying to tire him out, he has the lungs of a Sherpa the backs are their backs are weak roll through the middle Teddy blazing through in support of even shift to the edges Manu should have a field day.
I hope we put a cricket score on them and then wait to see the reactions of the three stooges Ikin ,Lockyer and Tallis eat shit trying to dissect the game.

I’d drop Collins over Liu. The guy was walking back into position after the 5th minute of a tackle.

Yes me too - will be the first Qld Roosters game I've missed for years.

Thought Collins was absolutely awesome , best game he has played in my opinion and think he is probably the future of our pack

SST will come in for Sitilli, it really is a toss up Aubbs for Liu or Butcher, the spanned in the works is Verrills do they go with him or move Rads/Aubbo to dummy half if Jake has a spell, blessed to have so many options

Agree Collins was fantastic last week. Bent the line better than anyone else in our team and of all the games I watched I think.

I’m not a betting man (apart from the $20.00 I drop yearly on the Melbourne Cup), however you have a point and I have the same feeling as I did last year when I put $20.00 on Vow and Declare, can you bet on that?

Butcher's post contact metres also seem to go unnoticed as well as his quick play the balls. I think Butcher has gone past Liu.
Back end of the year I expect to see Butcher and Crighton really tearing it up in this new open game style.

Agree re Butcher - he looks to have decent speed off the mark as well so it will suit him.

How freakin amazing is the depth we have in the forwards, I would love to be a fly on the wall when these guys train against each other, the competition for spots would be extremely high, and when it’s all said and done the closeness of the group the maturity and respect toward each other and no tension or bitterness, a perfect example was the way Tets handled his omission from the grand final squad my god that would have been a tough pill to swallow, I’m glad he turned his life around and was rewarded for his hard work with a premiership ring.

Robbo truly is a great coach and man all class.
