WE broke the story two weeks ago about Craig Wing's financial crisis. If anything we underplayed the amount of his debt - and this is why he has hired veteran agent Wayne Beavis to help sort out the mess. We have it from a reliable source that Wing even phoned his old Roosters boss Nick Politis about the possibility of returning to Bondi Junction. The Roosters are under enough salary cap pressure without bringing Wing back.

I find it interesting that we apparently still have salary cap pressure when we really haven't signed anyone this season and have let a number of players go.

I guess the upgrades to player contracts have really cost us a lot
