2021 Signings or Rumours ?

It's been a bit quiet recently and due to COVID-19 a lot of recruitment talks have been put on the back burner but are there any potential signings or rumours on the radar for the Roosters in 2021 ?

Few players that are off contract or will look for a new club are:

• Bronson Xerri
• David Fifita
• John Bateman
• Josh Addo-Carr

Few left-filed players are: Israel Folau


Is there anyone worth chasing or are we in talks with player managers ? Does anyone have any new news ?

Xerri.....is he a left centre?
Fifita....signed with the Broncos?
Bateman...too small. We need a 'Kikau'.

Fair point, mate and I agree but those players that I mentioned are just only a few of the 'big names" floating around that I'm aware of at the moment....not the full list

What we will need is a left centre and a right winger (both Morris boys are at the end of the road) and depending on what Maubs decides to do after this year a backrower (which we probably have covered with Sitili coming through, however some healthy competition couldn’t hurt, the chooks need a English forward English backs just don’t cut it here. Some depth signings would be nice, we have some developing to do Robbo has some work to there. Jared will be 30 Jake the snake also (we have Verrils ready to take over) hopefully Collins has a big year? Billy Smith? Laclan Lam? Have some planning to do.

I would think the plan is Billy Smith to come back.. But we are still short on a long term outside back... Ikivalu is the only one with some mileage...
I would imagine Collins/Faumasili are the ones to move into JwH roll? But not much filling them at the moment.
Then we need the back rowers to cover Aubs if he goes... Sitilli looks to be groomed for that... not much beyond that I can see? As you say, need more depth there.
Someone will emerge ... always have....

I sort of want the Chooks to go after Xerri picker but I also really want to see Billy Smith reach the highest heights.
