Down 0-2 with 18 games left seems a good challenge but like many have said we still have the best roster in the comp with the added bonus of j moz personally i believe we have as much as a chance as anyone. also- how do you think flanno will cope with the time off? Would have loved to see him grow in confidence.. could be a much different player to what he might show in rd 3.

on the one hand a shortened season with us 0 and 2 means injuries and bad luck could cruel our season - you wouldn't have the time to make up lost ground; on the other hand, it is a very different path to premiership glory this season so we won't have the overhang that some teams have had in the past.

if we make the top eight (barring injuries and bad luck we will) we're as good a chance as anyone.

It all hinges on Robbo. He has to throw out his 2020 plan and make a new one and re-educate and re-condition the players to it. Then he'll have a month to put it into practice before the season re-kicks off.

The chooks being notorious slow starters will work against us , now we get to start again we have to get it right straight away. We needed a long season to work on new combinations and build some momentum. I hope robbo has a backup plan around our halves combo that includes verrils.

Realistically, can you see young Walker being a serious contender for first grade this year. I just can't see that happening this year. If Flanno is going poorly, I'd think Trobbo would not be that risky ...he'd be more likely to go with Hutchison or Lam or Keary to half and slot another 5/8. I think we would have to have a number of injuries before Trent would even consider blooding Walker this year.

I’m just thinking worst case scenario, if Hutch is in the halves then something has gone seriously wrong, Verrills is probably the next best option, johns rates him highly after following him closely playing with his son.

realistically, the season comes down to keary playing at 100% every game.

Agree with most except point 3. If Keary goes down, things will be pretty tough.

If we win this year, I’m putting Robbo up there with Gibson and Bennett.

Massive wining B2B and will be difficult but not impossible going 3peat , but all hinges on Flanagan , if he gains confidence and Keary stays healthy we can do it , for me yes we have lost a lot with Latrine but much more of a loss is Cooper , you can't replace that cool head , can we win , off course , do we , probably not but as long as we give it all we should be happy with what we have achieved this century , 4 gfs and numerous world cups , dam good being a Chooks fan at the moment
