  • Happy Easter everybunny!

Regardless of whether you celebrate this weekend for religious significance or just the fact that it is an important weekend in Australian society....best wishes to you and your families.

An Easter like no other. We would all have been doing something different this weekend save for the prevailing circumstances.

For me it often meant carnival racing, Easts playing footy, the Byron Bluesfest and the Easter Show.

We will recover from this as the year unfolds.

    Stay safe and positive.
(except if you are tested for CV, then stay negative).

Enjoy an Easter egg or two.

Happy Easter everybody to those who celebrate.

LOL I was thinking back to Easter 2012 and I went to the Titans game at Robina with my uncle seeing SKD score a double and you were over the border at Bluesfest watching John Fogerty

I'm having roast pork with crackling, mash and veg for lunch and a Lindt rabbit later. I'll find some nice movies to watch later and I'm just sitting in the lounge room sun, listening to music, texting my family and friends instead of visiting this year. But I am grateful that I can do all of this anyway.

Every day we are one step closer to this current situation being over.

A very happy Easter to all of my fellow Roosters supporters, tragics, fans and casual posters.

Let's hope that everyone can get some happiness and enjoyment over this long weekend.

We should be comforted in the knowledge that we are edging closer to the end of this.
                MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

                  Best wishes to all.
And many thanks to those who invented colour tv, computers, satellite dishes, internet, today's mobile phones and other devices.
Bought a new tv a couple of years ago to get Netflix. "Netflix" button on the remote. Lovely, no big deal, everyone probably had one by then.
One day the bright light in the room was on and I saw another button "Apps". So I pressed it, and there it was...YouTube.
My life will never be the same...as I travel the world on the 'big' screen.
                  Cruise the world virus free.
Travel by train from Paris to Moscow. Thru the Swiss alps into Italy.
Yesterday I docked in the cruise ship in Uruguay, at the container terminal...mmm.
The coach took me into Montevideo city....to see the sights.
Last week I climbed up inside the Statue of Liberty...just like I was actually there doing it.

I could never go to all these places, so I'm very grateful to all the people who make videos of their travels and share them.

That's a great post Bondi Boy. I watched a tour of Southfork Ranch in Texas on YouTube after I had my surgery and also a lot of those train journey shows on SBS when I was housebound before and in too much pain to do anything or go anywhere. I also like the one where you can visit the Victoria & Albert Museum, one of my favourite places in the world. I don't know when and if I will ever get back there but it's nice to dream and view.

                            Happy Easter everyone.
I watched the 100year Easts DVD on Friday night. Good trip down memory lane, especially the 1980 preliminary final against Wests when we flogged them 41-5. Following week was disappointing.
They showed the Gearin try and Sattler tackle. These 2 incidents are part of NRL GF folklore, which gives me the shiiits. Especially Sattler tackle - overrated.

A large arrangement of flowers and the Soda Stream I had in my David Jones Wishlist...now I can make ALL KINDS OF FIZZY WATER.....and no you may not borrow it to make beer..it's not for home brewing...
