Lam is a good player, I've long wanted to see him in firsts.

I was surprised when we signed young Flanno but greater minds than mine made these calls.

If Robbo is as dirty on Lam as some of the Chookpenners (which I doubt), we could see Verrils in the halves at some point.

Lam seems to be very much a part of the top 23. Constantly gets named, went over the Barcelona, was one a few players at the game tonight.

He’s definitely in the picture. I think he’s definitely plan B if Flanno doesn’t work out but that’s a long way down the track.

Verrills is an interesting one. I think his service and decision making in attack is better than Friend’s but Friend’s defence is just so valuable and he’s such a good leader. I know Robbo is concerned about using 2 of his interchanges to get Verrills on and off either side of half time but I think we’ve just go to find a way to make it work.

Buying Cronk was a short term gamble that obviously paid off big time but the flip side of that was always going to be finding another halfback and now here we are.

Lam is a hog. If he was going to make it Flanagan wouldn’t be here.

Flanagan doesn’t seem to have much time. Seems rushed. That will come with experience.

Lam isn't first grade standard, he doesn't distribute the ball at all well, far too often he dies with the ball when he should of promoted it.

the differance between flanno and cronk cronk was a dominant half back for many yrs when we got him and just feeling his way around in a new team flanno is has only started in the nrl unproven,very green and still learning imo he will need a solid season to even start been dominant
