S.B.W. is perhaps the greatest back row forward I ever saw play, in either code, both in attack and defense and I believe he will be playing for us come 2013. Ican't believe we would sign Mattai as we don't really need him, I also doubt we could sign Hurrell, he is such a dominating player that no team would ever let him escape their clutches, defenses seem incapable of stopping him

Not to mention a club who's been forced to play backrowers (Mannering & Brown) in the centres in recent times, a club who's main centre is an injury prone Ropati and a club who just lost Berrigan & Moon. But yeh they're going to give Hurrell an early release from his contract.

Big call. IMO SBW is like Todd Carney...could have been one of the rugby league greats...but peaked young and will never live up to their natural talents because too distracted by other things like alcohol, fame, boxing and money.

I have been told, SBW's 2013 signing will be announced very soon. At yesterdays nrl meeting it was confirmed SBW will be coming to us, also that Conrad Hurrell will play for us in 2012. I was also told that Steve Matai is very likely to join us in 2013. I'm not overly excited about matai, if we get him. Before everyone starts carrying on, wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.

sbw and matai wont be here. wouldnt be too suprised if feki came because we have a youth policy and he fits right in. he's also a great centre so missing out on hurrel isnt too painfull.
