One of the real modern day champions imo.

Changed the way young halves and kids played footy when he started as a teenager. Now 35 and still winning footy games for his team and showing young bucks how it's done.

Regret he never wore our colours, but I guess it's appropriate he finishes his amazing career as a Tiger.

Champion player, probably my favourite player that does not play for us.

Won’t be long before 13 gets on here to say how is this Roosters related....

Can’t believe he is still playing and playing so well. I hope he keeps going.

A class act. On and off the field. He should always be involved with the NRL.

One of the modern greats, a pleasure to watch, except when playing the Roosters....

Agree with all the bouquets but his career shows that it's not easy being a top line professional footy player. Won a comp at the Tigers and was one of the game's best but then went kind of Ian Baker-Finch for a while and it's so good to see him back at the Tigers, playing for the love of it, winning games for his team.

He looked finished and washed up at the Broncos & Dragons. But has been pretty good since going back to the Tigers, and had a super game the other night against Dragons. Still has the step, might not have the speed he once had, but between the ears is still very quick !

Amazing how he has transformed himself from a brilliant individual athlete to one of the best game managers in the game. He has been an ornament to the game and has been one of the most influential players in the last twenty years. How many kids players in the game today have grown up as kids imitating his step and flick pass.

The 21st century's Cliffy Lyons. I've always thought he was a great player, glad he still is very, very good.

if roosters don't win this season ( I doubt there will be a 2020 winner btw ) I hope for the tigs, or warriors ( being a kiwi and for staying in Aus) neither are a chance. so go chooks.

I remember Benji when he was first graded at the Tigers because he was walking through Burwood Westfield (which I was at) the Thursday night before the weekends round that he was debuting in with the footy show cameras following him.
He & Shaun Johnson are a lot alike.
