  • Xerri

I'd say we'll sign this kid, a good replacement for Brett Morris when he retires, makes a lot of sense. I believe he'll be available for 2021.

Probably Josh Morris last year so I reckon Cronulla will do their best to keep him.

He could but the Sharks will be pissed and want compo. They may seek to reunite the Moz brothers.

i don't want to lose Bmoz.

I would rather gain Xerri and lose BMoz (as great as he was in 2019) than gain JMoz as then we would need to find 2 replacements for 2021. That way Xerri could play in the Centres and Smith on the Wing. FWIW, I can't see Xerri coming this year and doubt the club are seriously chasing him in any event.

Sharks are in all sorts. No ceo, playing at Kogarah. Operating at a lower salary cap, $350,000 less.

Xerri might just want to jump off the sinking jet ski while he can. Plus they signed Ramien and haven’t been able to punt Moylan or Dugan yet.

I don't believe the club is interested in him but who knows.

I am hearing that Xerri to the Roosters is on. That is coming from a source who is close to a Sharks Board member. I can't vouch for it personally but that is what I was told. I suppose we'll know soon enough. Gives us far greater depth if true.

He is a talent wasted under John Morris he would hit another 2-3 levels under Robbo no question, however I’m very conflicted I want to see Smith have first crack (if for some reason it doesn’t work out) Xerri would be coming off contract next year perfect time to swoop.
