Who plays Centre now?

With ******* gone, who plays centre? The obvious answer would be Billy Smith but do we really think he will be up for it. Seeing how much our left edge dominated last year and how one-sided we were early on in the season, will Billy be ready? What happens if he goes down with an injury? What is the likeliness of going for someone like Xerri or JMoz? Just curious on your guys' thoughts

I think Trent will "Money Ball" this issue to a thorough degree and come up with plans to minimise the absence of, as you put it, ********. Promote from within is my view on this matter so I hope the best left centre in the club earns the position and plays his part on the left edge. Go Easts!!!

bmoz, jmoz, xerri...someone with more first grade experience than billy smith.

i'd keep Latrell at norths in case we need him. would also give our fans a season to get used to the fact he won't be with us in 2021.

if we won the 3peat without him, or went close, fans probably wouldn't care so much.

Mr fixit Aubbo or Billy Smith, they will not buy anyone to replace Latrell because they have exceeded their cap by updating other players contracts.
They dont need to buy anyone to play centre they just have to hope Keary, Teddy & JWH stay fit for most of the season.

We've only really lost Latrell and Cronk while gaining Flanno?

I hope we promote from within rather than grabbing the first centre available. I mean Gagai would be an extremely handy acquisition as would Turner. However, culture is more important to us than having hired guns in the right positions. Hence why we released Latrell as soon as he prioritised testing his market value above our team winning in 2020.
