I don’t know if anyone has listened to the Justin Horo podcast with Keary and Rueban our speed coach. A lot of it is NFL talk but both the guys give a good insight in to the way roosters are and go about things. What Robbo has done and that he expects success and success only.
They talk about how different he is to other coaches etc it was actually a really good listen.

Keary favours the left edge in attack which is why I'd like to see manu and Angus moved to the left edge. Cordner is a battering ram and can play the same roll on the right side. We need some offloades to keep the points coming down that left edge.

Don’t assume you can just change a player from left side to right side. Not saying it can’t be done but most players favor a certain shoulder when they tackle and most have a natural left to right pass or right to left pass. Joey uses his left palm to palm players off and holds the ball in his right arm. Could not do this if he was playing on the left. He would need to start carrying in left arm and palming with his right. An unnatural movement for him. Keary will just have to develop an understanding with the new left centre. Moving Joey is not on the cards. (Unless it’s to hooker of course)

Your right but I'm sure the footballer would come out of manu and we would all see he can carry the ball in either arm pass just ass good right to left and be a very damaging right centre. I think he is that good, it just seems a waste to have our strike centre on the right when keary favours the left edge.

Maybe more likely that Keary will wander over to the right a bit more often. Depends how Flanagan settles in I guess, but even atm Keary's not unseen on the right.

And Jmoz is a wall defensively who would make our left edge that much harder to break down.
If that was the case, why wasn't he dropped to reserves. Is it because his presence on the field daunting to the opposition. Robbo is no fool and would have recognised that fact.

The most logical decision than would be to teach Cordner to pass the ball once in a while and keep the opposition guessing as to when he will be a battering ram when he will offload and set up his backs or when he will just run into a gap off Keary and score.
