Will Latrell be at training on Monday?

The article in the Telegraph from Ritchie is total speculation. Sources here sources there! Not one direct quote from any party involved. Seriously, If Souths have to release players to sign Latrell, don’t they have to do that before signing him? Otherwise they are over the cap?
I feel the Roosters do want him gone. Especially Nick who is very strong on loyalty and integrity. Latrell has not shown these qualities over the past few months. I’d say Nick has had enough and him being a tough, ruthless businessman who if crossed is unforgiving.
Only problem is Latrell has a contract for this year and until he asks for a release the Roosters are stuck with him.
Anyway, in saying that I feel it’s likely to be sorted sooner than later.

Sorted out this coming week, contract signed with Souths, if todays' media is to be believed.

I have no idea why people are saying Souths need to offload Gagai and/or Johnston to sign Mitchell.

Souths have lost Inglis, George Burgess, Sam Burgess and John Sutton from the roster all in this season, that's a lot of cap space freed up. Plus a few lower tier players like Hiroti, Brittain and Britt.
So far only having officially signed Bryson Goodwin for depth and CJ Mundine.

They would have a truckload to spend.

If Deacon is the manager that organised his last contract. That is not the reason for the split. Deacon actually increased the percentage LM payed him without LM's knowledge. Basically he tried to cheat LM.
Thats coming from the lawyer that helped LM get out of the contract.

I actually wonder if this is like a lot of things Souths do, they have a reputation and ride it but actually do very little.
The Roosters actually have an extensive Indigenous strategy including a Reconciliation Action Plan. It recently attained a level only equalled by one other organisation Australia wide. Thats all Australia not just RL.
Its more that just words of reconciliation its facilitating and auctioning educational and vocational opportunities for indigenous youth.

So I think the Roosters are doing more than lip service and probably more than Souths really do for our Indigenous communities

Arrow deal reportedly $800k. They need forwards and they have to pay money to get them. Maybe, just maybe that’s why they have to offload a back or two to pay Latrell.
