My son is 4. We went to the Raider club in Kippax for a club lunch... he ran over to a table with Raiders fans and was like 'oooh look his shirt has a viking!! I saw the Roosters and the vikings play... and the vikings lost'. He then recited a Roosters chant. The guy got fired up and I was like 'dude, he's 4, calm down...'

        We're a great team
They are still very bitter down here. Can’t wait for round 15. Already got my tix for the game. Going to be one hell of a good night!

My hubby was a faiders fan and club member. He’s now Roosters. Admittedly while he loves rugby league he’s more of an AFL fan. He has also been trained to hate all things vermin.

That's a notch on the belt.

I guess it was easier as he comes from a fanatical AFL family. He’s a born and bred Canberran and didn’t start following league until the Raiders joined the comp. He was a huge fan though when they won in 89 . There is no way I could get him to change his AFL allegiance though, not that I’d really bother as I’ve never really been able to get into that code properly.

I hope he is more loyal to you than he is his football teams.

No greater sin than changing the team that you support? But it seems like he did it because of his loyalty to her.

So he puts his wife before footy. That’s not a real supporter!

                    • I cannot follow the Swans in the AFL because of their colours. All I see there is St Merge.

That's why I like Melbourne - same colours as the mighty Roosters! Best colours in world sport I say.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

                        • Yes, but Melbourne has the right shade - i.e. midnight/navy instead of royal blue. This, coupled with the white (the shorts and the numbers on the back) make it very close to the mighty Roosters, unlike the Bulldogs who are closer to the Knights, but with the white (unless of course you are considering the Knights away jersey). As a side note, I remember one of our supporters having a banner stating: "Roosters, est. 1908, red, white and blue. Beware of any cheap imitations." Classic!

I could never follow a Bulldogs team, even if it is from the AFL.

                          • Roosters to finish top 4 and with the imminent arrival of JMoz another GF is hopefully on the cards
                            Go Roosters
