Yes, Alofa is quite good not ready for nrl in 2012, sheck is good at school footy, Wells is young but has all the attributes, Qld as well as young Roos and again young.

sign massey at the end of the year as an insurance policy and let him fight it out with wells and RTS. considering massey has already played a few first grade games and performed well, he could well be the solution but the fact that he is not an established first grader means that he would not preclude wells or RTS getting a run ahead of him.

As for fullbacks, we have the opportunity to watch some of the younguns for NYC and Newtown in 2012. By midway through the season the coaching staff should have a fair idea as to whether Mini's relacement can be found internally or whether we need to enter the market (not Dugan please, I don't want a re-run of the TC dramas - bright lights, big city, bogan dipsticks don't mix).

I can't see RTS actually playing fullback in NYC ahead of Wells. You would think he'd either be at right centre or they might see how he goes at 6. Wells has the talent to be a rep level fullback at some stage but his physique is still probably a year and a half away. It would be great if RTS developed into more of a ball player and turned into a genuine 6 so we could keep both fullback and five-eighth internal.
