What a great year we've had.
So grateful to the players, coaching staff and everyone in the organisation for giving us so much joy. How many other clubs will go back to back in the near future? How many other clubs will win 3 out of 7 comps? We're very lucky to support such a team.
Still in awe of how we managed to hang in there in the prelim and the GF and then find a way to win.

A very merry Christmas to all contributors on the Chookpen forum. I have only been on here for a couple of months or so, but am enjoying the good debate, banter and fanfare, not to mention, and most importantly, the chance to interact with my fellow Eastern Suburbs Roosters fans, supporters and tragics. While there are a couple of other Chooks forums around, this is the best by far. Like others, I sincerely hope that we can 'do the three peat' in 2020!

I also want to provide my best wishes to those RFS personnel and other volunteers battling the terrible fires that have gripped the edges of Sydney, swathes of New South Wales and other parts of Australia in recent months. I hope that they can get a break in these next few days with the milder weather, and containment lines can be strengthened.
