  • Left and Right side. future.

    Skd and Taguive right.
    Moga and leilua left.
    Pezz fullback.
Skd breaks tackles and loves to offload,Taguive is a finisher super speedster. skd can make good mtrs from dummy half on the right side.
Moga breaks tackles and can offload, leilua can also break tackles and offload. leilua gets good mtrs from dummy half also on the left side.
Pezz is as safe as houses, breaks tackles, gets fast play the balls and gets good mtrs out of dummy half from anywhere.
add Aubbo to the right and guerra to the left and i think we are very strong? Plenty of points in this line up.

Errors? Taguive, Leilua? Bj is 19 2012 will be a big year for him, Taguive 5 nrl games. give them a break, watch both Peni and Bj shine in 2012. both know the way to the try line. Skd will be back to his 2010 form in 2012.

Pez is a winger not a fullback.

He has played fullback several times, and done well there.

He is the logical choice if Shecky the wonder horse doesn't kick on.

Only problem with this is that Perrett is not a fullback. He is heart attack material under the high ball, and can make a fundamental error out of nothing. Go back and look at season 2007 when Perret played a fair few games at fullback, sure he had a few good ones but he had a fair few clangers as well.

Also as was proven in the 2010 Grand Final and the entire season 2011 - BJ Leilua is NOT a winger

I hope that if Tuivasa-Sheck is as good as many say he can play just as well at five-eighth because I would love to see Henare Wells as our fullback by 2013/14 if he can put on another 10kg and get rid of the simple errors in his game. Wells, Tagive, Moga, SKD, Perrett, Tuivasa-Sheck, Pearce....that would be pretty close to the fastest set of backs and halves in the comp. A lot to ask I know but we're all allowed to dream a bit in the off season.

Has Wells definetly stayed with us?

Still not sure mate. But Gman sounded pretty confident and he generally knows his stuff when it comes to the kids in NYC. I haven't been able to find any news on him heading to the Titans and that would be newsworthy up there seeings he's a local product.

                      Cheers mate..
I really hope we keep him,Wells is a massive talent and could be our long term answer at fullback!
Our future is bright, even moreso if we retain Wells!

Henare is back in training. In fact, training with our first grade squad at the moment!

fantastic news love your work Gman. I too really like the look of him. his speed, footwork, support play and general workrate looks very good. A few kgs and another year of NYC and we could have ourselves a winner. That said, id like to see us sign massey as an insurance policy for RTS and wells at the end of the year. he is off-contract and with dugan likely to stay he will be looking for an opportunity. has played first grade and looked very capable. can also cover the halves so at worst would be good depth.

Change 1 - Mini out, Massey in to join RTS and Wells in a 3 way battle for the #1 with the loser out of RTS and Wells (or both if massey gets the gig) likely to give tagive in particular a really good challenge to play outside Moga.

Change 2 - Anasta out, wade graham in - off contract at the end of the year and with kelly, carney, robson, townsend all at the sharks and talk that he may have to move to a different position if he wants to play first grade this year already surfacing, he could be the perfect fit. I see a lot of anasta in him but think he can be just as good if not better. described as captaincy material by flanagan so would be a good influence as well
