If The Marshall is right, we could soon get to the end of the "where will Lattrell be playing" saga, Thank heavens for that at least.
David Fifita will get that money. Cadaver doesn't want Latrell, he's already got Cody Walker and Adam Reynolds to psych manage.

looking into the crystal ball , i predict a bit of short term pain, then the sense of relief when we realise long term gain. but ive been wrong 50 % of the time .

Points for your consistent use of the term cadaver to denote coach smiley and LOL at the psych manage bit.

I've called him a cadaver ever since he reneged on us.

Yes, I noticed PIM. Thus my comment "points for consistent use..."

The only reason why Souths are even viable is because Kasper Gutman is on the NRL Board.

Despite what happens, I would be happy for him to stay, provided the powers that be are convinced that he won't be a toxic influence on the team in any way during its quest for a three peat. At the end of the day, that's what matters most, and the people that count are in a better position to gauge that than any of us are. I am sure the club knows what it is doing, even though it is taking a long, drawn out process before we get to learn of the outcome.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

They then get to spend this money again to "replace" him which means this is a $1.2M advantage conferred upon the vermin again, be it over one year or however many years burgess had left on his contract.
That’s exactly what it does, look at Manly they didn’t get the exemption and it stuffed them, but greenturd will always look after souffs

Nothing to do with Greenberg & the NRL. Players are insured by clubs & the insurance company is paying Sam not Souths. Because Souths dont have to pay him the money that they would of paid him if he wasnt medically retired they still have it in their cap & can buy another player to replace him.
Insurance companies dont just pay people out a million a year for the fun of it. They have their own medical people who are independent from Souths who have made a professional medical decision to pay the insurance claim out.
Matai & Stewert were not able to convince their/Manlys insurance company about their injuries so insurance claims were rejected. There is no way Souths or Greenberg have had anything to do with the insurance companies decision.

Crowe would love to take him off us. We didn’t need Angus either. But sometimes the hatred overcomes.

Unless Tubs Crowe is Soufs coach and I don't know about it, Latrell isn't welcome there. And Angus is a strong defensive unit.

They did go out of their way to say Bennett didn’t have anything to do with recruitment. Not that I believed it.

We didn’t need Angus. Sitili was ready to rock.

Not just Sitili, we had Matterson there also who could have easily covered for a lot less money by the sounds of it!
