  • Indigenous vs Maori All Stars Game

There is only 2 roosters (JWH and Latrell Mitchell) to vote for which is a shame. Is Manu of Maori descent? If so why isn't he up for selection

Also, interestingly there is a choice to vote Mitchell in for fullback (which I did)

Voted for JWH, but hope he's on the plane to England. Voted for Latrell at left centre.

The greatest moment in AllStars v Maori history was when Ingli$ had to pull out with an "injury" where he really did it because he didn't get enough votes to get included

I’m surprised Joey Manu and Tets aren’t on the Maori list. If I’m not mistaken, both are of Maori descent.

Aren't the Roosters on the verge of becoming outright world champions 5-4 in the WCC?

Why would we jeopardize this opportunity?

Rubbish game couldn't give a shit. The players should be saving themselves for games that count.

I have no problem with players wanting to play in that game, but I don't think it should come ahead or at the expense of club obligations. The WCC is important to us (we have demonstrated that for a number of years now), and I think we should have close to a full strength squad going over there once again for a chance to be the most successful world club side. I would be preaching the exact same thing if other nationalities or groups were to be involved in such a fixture each year.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
