John I have never been a Bwaiff man, have stated this on many occasions, but all this shit concerning his so called tantys is just that, shit, IMO.

I'm sick of the old cliches, you know said player earns whatever amount some kid has dreamed up, players don't care about playing well, no pride in the jumper etc.

It's all shit. It's a professional game, players and clubs know that fact, I think fans often fail to realize the harsh reality. Clubs are full of personalities, egos and $$$.

I guess what I mean is getting that result, the ring, takes sooooooo many variables to click and a huge amount of luck. Look at WoManly, it's not just about having the best players, there are many factors that go into success in RL these days. Sometimes just the right combos, on the field and in the front office is enough.

It's the NewsRL way. And of course the clubs they own will always be looked after.

I'm stopping now, if I continue I will get back on my SL crusade.

I fail to understand what 3 different coaches or different CEOs etc could do about the fact we have only won 1 of them.

Our recruitment and retention policies have baffled me at times.

Manager looking for a upgrade
He won a grand final in his rookie year, is touring with Australia, and has been named the best halfback on the planet – but the Manly Sea Eagles are facing a fight to keep Daly Cherry-Evans.

The manager of Cherry-Evans, Gavin Orr, has warned that he will not hesitate to take the playmaker away from the club if he does not get an upgrade to his $135,000-a-year deal.

There have been suggestions that Cherry-Evans might have an out clause or an option on his deal, which takes him through to the end of 2013, which means the 22-year-old might be a surprise addition to the player market next year.

Orr was tight-lipped on the fine print of the deal, but given that Cherry-Evans has made such a stunning rise to the top tier of NRL players, it is clear he would like his client to have a contract reflecting that.

Orr has held preliminary discussions with Manly officials about Cherry-Evans’s contract but yesterday he said: ”If they don’t look to upgrade in 2012, I can’t see Daly wanting to stay.”

Mate I will be honest and admit I believe the club set that up to get rid of Carnage, and Pyles. It was too neat. Just my opinion though.

I also fail to believe any player could mastermind such a scheme. It's just many didn't want to believe we were losing Carnage after 2010. Bwaiff was the convenient scapegoat.

It was hard for some to face the reality he played like a horses this year. His head was up his arse. Just shows how mental the game really is.

I was/am a Carntage fan. But I love Easts before anything. He was hurting the club. I accept it was the right thing for the club to do, unfortunately.

My only problem with our management would be that we bow to News and Rothwitts agendas too often. I like WoManlys attitude best, they hate everyone and everyone hates them. They don't run from their reality, they embrace it and make it work for them.
