Not far off Geo, don't want to put much pressure on the guy cause he's still got a shit load of development to go but I made the same comparrison after I first saw him this year. He's a very creative player with great support play, he still needs to work on his kick returns & bomb defusal though so at least a year away from First Grade.

When I watch Freddy and Joey commentating and being so in tune with each other,
I imagine how they would have run the game if they had played in the same team.
Tomkins may mature, but he needs to play in the NRL to really use his talents.

Forwards are different to backs in the sense that you can be a ponderous forward who can play 35-45 minutes and get away with it but a back who has to be there for the full game can't hide on the bench.

Compare Gareth Ellis to Gareth Widdop.
