Ha - he is still better than almost every single one of our players.

Tomkins has always been shit under the high ball, reason no one has been talking is because he just signed a long term contract.

Personally I would've given him the 6 jersey if he came to the Roosters, it's his best position.

He's a very creative player with great support play, he still needs to work on his kick returns & bomb defusal though so at least a year away from First Grade.

Cept for Melb a few years back!

              Sadly.
When I watch Freddy and Joey commentating and being so in tune with each other,
I imagine how they would have run the game if they had played in the same team.
Tomkins may mature, but he needs to play in the NRL to really use his talents.

If he played 5/8 in the NRL he would be murdered.

It's like being a champion sprinter at your school being a 5/8th in S.L. but the NRL is the providence of Usain Bolt.

I'm pretty sure this is the guy Smith has earmarked to replace Mini. I just hope the Gold Coast keep their paws off him!

Surely you don't actually believe that crap. England's elite players have a history of coming to Australia and proving themselves, Burgess the most recent and Graham to do it again this year.

The ESL's issue is depth, not the quality of their top players. I must have been dreaming when the same bloke tore apart two International sides full of NRL 'stars' with his running and ball playing game.

Forwards are different to backs in the sense that you can be a ponderous forward who can play 35-45 minutes and get away with it but a back who has to be there for the full game can't hide on the bench.

Compare Gareth Ellis to Gareth Widdop.

No that would make my feelings towards him all wrong.

Now, would I get away with putting the video to The Rolling Stone's C***S****er Blues as a rejoinder?
