    11. Guerra
    12. Maubs
    13. FPN (if poor form, i'd put Cordner or Bosden at lock)

Imagine having 11. Cherrington 12. Takarangi. Non-stop offloading! And two very big backrowers.
    And JWH at lock.
Moseo and Kennedy at prop. Wow what a massive pack.

      I would like to see
      8. JWH Should be our main intimating player
      9. Friend/Mitchell depending on who we are playing
      10. Mose flat stick for first 20 minutes
      11. Aubusson
      12. Cordner
      13. Tasi

      14. Kennedy
      15. Takairangi
      16. Bosden/Guerra
      17. Mitchell/Friend

Plain and simple and thick heads shall prevail. Anasta WILL start the season as 5/8 against our hideous parasitic Sydney brother Souths...we will beat them as we normally do. Braith Anasta will be man-of-the-match in the game. Three or four rounds into the season Braith will be fighting for his spot with an in-form Daniel Mortimer out-sporting him in lower grades, or proving himself from the bench.

JWH is the biggest myth ever. Kennedy will start ahead of him for sure. We all know Nuuasala will be in the starting 13 because Smith seems to love him,the way Guerra was playing towards to end of the season you would have to have him in the starting 13 and who is Bosden ??

I know I repeat myself over and over, but JWH isnt a myth, he is not playing in the best position for him to show his true value.....

Put him in the second row and watch him shine, and if I am wrong, well it would be easy to slot another of ourover abundance of forwards into the position.......(I dont think I am though).....

His name is Jack Bosden. Smith & O'Sullivan bought him from the Dragons. He played 1 game from the bench I think in FG last year.
As far as I know he plays where else but the back row but he may play FR. The main reason I have put him their is because Smith actually signed this guy so I am thinking that he rates him so he will give him a start?

Bosden scored tries while covering for Gaz on rep duty, big, solid, strong, quite impressive really.

Am surprised folks here have not spoken much of him, wouldn't be out of place if he slotted staight in to top grade at centre.

My run on backrow (in any order) :

                JWH
                Guerra
                Maubs

                Next of the best:
                FPN
                Cordner
                Takairangi
                Symonds

Cordner could be our next Myles (without the poo) if he responds to Fitzy's coaching

Interesting post. That is the first I have heard of Bosden as a potential centre. Apart from the 1 and 6 we will have a hell of a lot of depth this year. Obviously there are a couple of kids in Wells and RTS that are potential fullbacks but they seem a little green at the moment perhaps?

Although he played out wide he is actually a back rower, so there's a conundrum for the coach. Bennett wanted to take him to the Knights but we gazumped him.

Cordener can be bigger than Myles.....he can be anything in the game, and Artie has huge raps on the kid....

I think you might be confusing Bosden with Alex McKinnon, a ranga centre/second-rower who has followed Bennett to Newcastle. Bosden played about 4 games last year at second row and lock. He killed it in last year's charity shield scoring one try and setting up another. Very good footwork for such a big guy and has a great workrate. I think he'd have to play out of his skin in the trials though to get a spot at lock ahead of FPN who has hopefully turned a corner.

On the comparison between Cordner and Myles, I really hope he doesn't turn into that style of player. He is a far better attacking forward than Myles who had a great workrate but never really had any punch into the line. I think the main reason Cordner is even considered a tight forward is because of the abundance of good ball playing edge runners we possess. If anyone is to develop into a Myles-type player it would be Bosden imo.

Yes, I remember when fatso at the knights indicated he wanted Cordner to return & apparently Artie warned O'Sullivan to ensure he was locked in...Artie's influence lives on!!!

                            Roosters sign Bosden on two-year-deal

                            Zero Tackle
                            – June 19, 2011

The Sydney Roosters have pulled off a coup in signing boom Dragons rookie Jack Bosden on a two-year-deal.

Bosden has been earmarked as a future representative player by experts, and was being lured to the Newcastle Knights by outgoing Dragons coach Wayne Bennett, but has opted to relocate to Bondi Junction. The 22-year-old back-rower is seen as an ideal replacement for retired utility Daniel Conn (neck), and Roosters officials hope he will develop into a player like Gold Coast-bound Maroons forward Nate Myles, who can play at prop or in the back row.

Wow, if Bosden can play centre, that must make him the most versatile player in the NRL, Front Row, 2nd Row & Centre!
