I like Billy Smith & look forward to seeing him playing FG for the mighty Chooks.

I also like Billy (he is a Rooster junior, isn't he?) and am very much looking forward to seeing him develop. Morris in the centres would be good too. I am, however, somewhat concerned about Ryan Hall. This other injury will be smewhat of a set back, and I wonder how it affect his confidence. Hopefully it is not too serious and we won't be in a situation like the Dogs look to be with Foran.
      MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

If Latrel is gone for 2020, don't be surprised if Brett Morris starts at centre.
Brett won the man of the match in the World Club challenge and bagged 3 tries in the process when starting at left centre. He is certainly up to it

Yes, he has, but he obviously feels he needs a change of jersey, so let him go. Latrell playing in a jersey he's not happy wearing is not something the Chooks need to experience, as I doubt it would be a positive one.

Maybe, but Latrell hasn't said anything in public that is unsupportive of the Roosters. It's all media reporting of what his management has said. Maybe his preferred position is to stay at the Roosters?

He swapped his Australian jumper with Conrad Hurrells Tongan jumper the other night, maybe he wants to play for Tonga.

If it was all rosy between Latrell and the Chooks, do you reckon the club would have publicly withdrawn its offer to him?

He'd probably prefer their national anthem ...

The real reason why the Chooks have withdrawn their offer is because Latrell didnt buy his new Mercedes through Nick Latrell went to another dealership. Thats a big no no.

Does Nick sell Mercedes Benz? City Ford says yes more often and all of that.

I know not everyone feels this way but I support the Indigenous players deeply when it comes to the national anthem. My personal opinion is that it is disgraceful.

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall during that meeting between Latrell and Robbo. We don't really know where things ended up, or what the relationship is like but, on the face of it, I would say it could now be untenable and there is no way back. The club was compelled to make a statement as this is very clear. On balance, I still think it did the right thing by handling it this way.

I personally think Mundine is brain washing him to go after big money which could end up destroying his career in the end because Mitchell needs good players around him to do what he does. Half his success is built on Keary & co. Mundine probably put in the kids head he won the GF single handedly so we owe him big time and should give him a blank cheque of price and position he is demanding. Nick and Robbo saw through that and let him go. It’s his attitude. If it wasn’t for Keary and Cords setting it up there was no flick pass. It required them as well as Toups and teddy to be there. He didn’t do it alone which I suspect mundane is pumping him with. If he goes to another club he’ll soon find out he’s not half as good without Keary & Co.

Screw Latrell he will eventually go walk about. Hurry up and upgrade Tedesco cause this time next year he will be a free agent.
