  • Roosters Robbed. It’s about time.

Credit to Robbo, you could see he was upset after the match with all the Raiders were robbed talk.

    Wasn't this brilliant to hear?

Well done Robbo but how much more ludicrous does it make the post match media "Raiders wobbed" spin that was pushed so hard.

I find it interesting it was regarded as such a poor refereeing performance overall...I have seen many much much worse.

Im wondering now Jonathon Thurston reading this article did you really want to ask Robbo about the referee decisions after the match.

Yeah, Bernard Sutton has put to bed the myth that we won because ref decisions favoured us. No doubt when you're backing the underdog you can let yourself think that decisions that harm the favourite aren't as important, but we thoroughly earned that victory.

But losing GFs is one of the worst things you can do and you're always going to look for a scapegoat. It's called being in denial.

Take notice of the author and also who doesn’t report on it despite the countless stories about Canberra
            ..it’ll be interesting to see

yeah but this is like when a newspaper runs a front page story of lies and crap, then a month later writes a sqibby little apology hidden in the middle of the classifieds.
It's good to read this finally, but how many sheeple who were brainwashed into thinking the Raiders were robbed will even be aware of this and will continue forever and a day to trot out the line about Roosters being gifted a premiership.

i support the roosters number one and the hawthorn hawks second. in 2008 the Hawks won the grand final. in 2013 2014 2015 they won the grand final. thats five years gap. in 2013 we won the grand final. In 2018 2019 #### we won the grand final. is it possible to copy the afls most successful team in 100 years. i think so.....i stuck a lazy $20 on the roosters to win, the hawks to win and the double in 2013. got a $1800 in the hand after the season...just sharing

Great to read that article and see justice done finally. We won fair and square despite some very wrong decisions and that proves we are worthy b2b champions. I never expected b2b so now for a long while I will be feeling really great. Trent has done a remarkable job.

Agree fully with the above points. I have seen some other club supporters coming out and saying that we are ungrateful and thus complaining despite winning the game. Honestly, some people just don't get it. I wonder what would have happened if the result went the other way. Robbo has been great through this whole affair: from dealing with Thurston right through to the NRL officials.
                    MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

I watched that part of the post match interview again. A lot has been made by the usual click bait haters of Robbo supposedly losing his cool and almost head butting Thurston - in reality all he did was calmly turn the question back on Thurston - "you think we were a bit lucky JT?". Thurston then turned into a wobbly mess on the verge of tears.

I found it disrespectful, as trent put it "you're bringing this up now" after what we had achieved. Thurston is a childish sook.

He's a Queenslander, so it's extremely likely that he cannot read

Fairfax didn't print this one in the Crimes (aka Canberra Times) so I helped out by printing a copy for my workmates.

Mal and Laurie and Lockyer are all stealing a living !

Anyway i applaud Robbo for righting these wrongs. Disgusting Canberra Raider fan-boy involvement At least we know now who the fanboys all are
