Me too mate. I think we can only improve in 2012 and I'm really hoping we some of these young kids have breakout years. BJ is definitely a chance if Smith gets him off the wing. It will be very exciting when Moga debuts as well. I just hope people give him a chance and don't write him off if he isn't an instant success.

Maubs has some work to do.
I am a big fan of him, but I want you to think about this.

Maubs had a great time in 2010 carving up outside defenders finding the holes with ease.
Then towards the end, it dried up. Why, nothing to do with Carney,Anasta or Mr Kincaid.
      Opposition coaches figured him out.

I think he has the ability to do it and I hope he does

You are being a touch hard on Maubs there..

He played hurt through that finals series & was one of our best in the GF..

The guy has the attributes i look for in a good team player..Plus he is versatile enough to play centre if need be..

I reckon Maubs had a better combination with Pearce then Carney.

you'd be right there. Maubs was Pearce's go to man. Consequently, Pearce's 2011 attacking game was left a bit lacking

While i agree with your post, your sig pic reminds me of "good Toddy"..

The days when we all thought we had our halves pairing for the next 5 or so years..

I'm getting more sentimental as i age..

Pearce and Guerra started to strike a good combo towards the end of 2011.

I wasn't trying to be hard on Maubs, more explaining why he was a little less effective in the last couple of games before he was out with injury.

                      You're right!

We really missed him last season.

And his line running the year before made it easy for Carney.

I can't wait to see him again.
