I reckon there might be some minor surprises Sunday, Friend being the bolter.

    Here are my flippin' predictions;

    2. Toops
    3. 'Trell
    4. Manu
    5. B-Moz
    6. Keary
    7. Cronk
    8. JWH
    9. Verrills
    10. Taka
    11. Cords
    12. Aubo
    13. Victor

    14. Liu

    19. Friend
    17. Crichton

Edit: Oh yeah, I reckon Friend starts, with Liu.

Not team predictions as such, however if we win the Roosters will be:

*First team to go back to back in the NRL era
*First team to win 4 titles in NRL era (Currently on three with Storm and Broncos)

        Then first game of 2020
A win will mean the first team to go back to back World Club Champions
And hold the most World Club Championships

The suspension worked out pretty well in the end for JWH. We get him back fresh as a daisy ready to tear Canberra a new one. Could be a decisive factor having him fresh considering how tired the other forwards would be after last night.

I'll take a punt on the 17 that takes the field (as opposed to the one named).

That's the line up I'd go with as well, I wouldn't risk going with Jake over verills for a grand final.
JWH will relish the challenge of taking on papalli in a battle of the bulls.
All the talk that we didn't have anyone to replace him against the storm to lead our forwards was misplaced.
Captain Cords led from the front and his performance on getting back and taking the tough early hit ups was reminiscent of Bradley Clyde in his heyday.

Tets has played every game that he has been available in the last two years. There is no way he doesn’t play.

I agree. I really dont think Friend will play and Tets will be in for him but i could be wrong. Rest of the team looks spot on.

Not suggesting Friend over Verrills. You all may well be right about Friend. I'm not so sure, it may well be left up to him, and it would play havoc with Ricky, he is high strung enough as it is. Robbo' is evolving into a master strategist, you can see it i the way he handles the press.

JB, with you on the Papali/JWH battle. It will be epic. So will BJ/'Trell.

He has been good. If fit though, even for 15min a half, IMO Friendy is better.

Can't play them both it's either Friend or Verrills and JWH for Lindsay only change.

I cant believe how well Crighton is playing now, as opposed to the slow start he had at the start of the season. He has been amazing every time he has come on, over the last few games, he is our x factor , and I'am sure he will have a bog part in us winning the comp once again.
