That went as well as this Papalii-hype.

Robbo will have it well in hand.
I think Papalii is smart because he has a knack for identifying those certain, short-range, crash-over tries. It's always annoying when he scores them coz he's so fukking fat and lazy. In a smart way though - he knows how to conserve energy and won't be caught busting a gut for nothing.

Like Taumalolo, he's not my style of player. I've shared this opinion multiple times and been shot down but like... I prefer leaner players who do more work off the ball. Doesn't necessarily get you stats, but being there (rather than walking over and waiting for your next small guy to bulldoze for 30 PCM) plugs gaps. Running off the ball creates confusion and puts fear into the opposition's eyes coz they never know when you'll get the ball.

Ultimately league's a power sport and guys like Papalii and Taumalolo are highly valuable to the right team. The make a looot of metres and give you a massive trump card when you're 5m out because few are gonna be big enough to hold them up. Am I scared of either though? Not really TBH. Again, we all have our opinions and I prefer leaner players. Each to their own.

Both are top-shelf forwards who you'd wanna watch out for though. The Cows bashed us up earlier in the year. IMO we can struggle against big dudes sometimes because we are a more mobile team. If it becomes a grind, guys like Papalii can be very challenging to play against. If it's a more open game, you don't want guys that sorta size lumbering down the field trying to keep of with a more mobile pack once they get some momentum...

So apparently Papalii is the best prop in the game, after a couple of decent games.

Don't believe the hype on this Telly Tubby.
      He's a poor mans Taumalolo.
Media pumping up his tyres big time. What a joke!

He's a rep grade prop, he's in form, he's quite large and he's the best they've got to throw at us. I'd say he's on par with Taumalolo as a large, power forward.

As stated, he's not my cuppa tea - I prefer JWH and SST. However, he's clearly their enforcer.

Papali and ball strips. Thats all they have.
our biggest threat is our ball controll and disaplin.

He's the third or fourth "best prop in the game" for the season.

JWH was the best prop 3 weeks ago and now Papalli is, and also the best player in the world? Journos throw the best in the world tag as much as flushing the toilet.

100% agree - we are a fitter team so I believe that the warmer weather will suit us better!

It’s the humidity that they won’t like more than heat.

Don't forget Nelson, who was the best prop in the world heading into last week. Although he is a beast and had a big game.

As for Papalii, he's a gun but is he any better than Fonua Blake or Nelson who are also big power props? I don't think so.

Nah & Nah and whatever happened to TKO? Is he not the best prop in the world this week anymore? But the weirdest thing is for big Paps is to be thought off as the best player in the world...But I'm thinking that Stuart and his followers like pEnnis are just trying to get our players to react in a negative way...They're probably thinking that if players like Jared gets ticked off, he'll probably give away a few penalties or worse. I hope our players have a good laugh and stick to the job...But back to Papalli...souths gave him sooo much room and that try he scored was terrible defence by a Cook that was all at sea from the kickoff.

The last few years Papalli has always played better at the back end of the year, his form at the beginning of the year is very average at best

No contest, JWH by a mile. Souths paper thin defence made Papali look good. We would have stopped that last run 5 metres out. Papali would be the 4th best prop in our team.

Papalii is a very good prop but he’s definitely not the best. JWH, Taukeiaho and AFB all rank ahead of him in my opinion.

Im worried that Papalli will get over JWH because Jarrod is such a clean skin who never plays it dirty or rough.

I think Radley will go after Big Papa.
