I can't remember how long he was at Souths for, I don't remember seeing many games with him in red & green. But I never really watched their games and it wasn't televised much back then.
I know he was at Manly for a few years as I saw plenty of their games, my brother is a Manly fan and we went to nearly every Roosters and Manly games each weekend.
Still remember him belting Gary Jack once (well I think it was him) for calling him a fag.

Yes it was Gary Jack, and years later he successfully sued him for it. Which was pretty weak.

It was before my time, but when I look at the old footage, the Aussie pop stars of that era weren’t exactly lookers, we’re they? Harris would have fit right in.

Braithwaite was supposedly a sex symbol, but was average. Shirley whatsisname from Skyhooks likewise, Farnham, Jon English, etc.

Steve Wright was good looking but that was the 60’s. Different again.

Not as tangential as you might think, given the talk of Roberts
Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

From my bad memory, the only 2 players who had to enter the leauges club from the back door were Shuebert and Fairfax,
          Stuipd rules.
