  • Zane Tetevano

From our mates at Sporting News - NRL Leaks - if true!!

Tetevano on the way out of Bondi Junction
The Roosters' Zane Tetevano has been approached by a rival club to join them in 2020 - and it's unlikely the premiers will stand in his way.

The hard-running middle man has proven a key performer for the Chooks over the past three seasons, but it's almost certain he will depart Bondi at the end of this year.

The rival club is based in Sydney and are desperate to sign Tetevano as they attempt to transform into a finals contender in 2020.

No idea if this is an accurate report but it would be disappointing to lose Tetevano if it did happen, he has been really solid.

I think this is a good thing, whilst he has been very solid for us, the club needs a progression plan for some of our younger players. From what I have seen Faamausili is ready to take the spot of the number 4 front rower on the bench rotation next season. I expect Isaac Lui may end up the third prop in our rotation with Radley now our number 13.

Despite my calling him an idiot for being stripped of the ball twice against the faiders, I hope this rumour isn't true.

Yep, he does that thankless first hit up !! Good luck to him if he is cashing in elsewhere. After a bad start to his career/life as a young man he seems to have turned this around. If true wish him all the best

I reckon it's the dogs, I hope he gets a good pay day, he's been strong for us but time to let him go rather than pay too much.

He has been excellent for us However he is also the type of player we will probably have to let go if we want to keep the younger forwards like Faamusili and Toupainoua at the club.

Has been brilliant for us. I reckon the Dogs are offering him big money. He deserves every bit of it.

The number of times he comes on and changes the tempo of our game should not be underestimated. He's been terrific value for money and deserves that big pay day to set his family up.

Tets has been terrific for us and is as tough as they come. Hits hard in defence and got a good tip on play in him. With the improvement in sitili and the farmer it's a good time for him to move on and earn some decent coin at the backend of his career.

Has been a great player for us but this is how we manage the salary cap so well, by succession planning. Good move by the club if true.
