I would rather be a losing Rooster than a supporter of any other team. So how good is it when you are a winning Rooster
The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

And how good is Steve Smith. Big Roosters fan making 2 centuries in a test after being out of the game for more than a year. Champion.

Been watching it too zac. History in the making there. We should feel honored to be able to witness it. And yes...Stevie's a declared Rooster.

The super league years and onwards is from where I can remember in detail. I saw Freddie in person for the 1st time in 96 outside the sfs when he signed an autograph for my cousin and was like wow! From that moment he became my favorite player.
That 02 GF is still up there as my favorite sporting moment. At the time as a fifteen year old seeing it happen for the first time was like watching your team win the WC. It was extra special for my dad as it was the second time (and unfortunately the last time) he got to see a Roosters premiership since 75 when he migrated to Aust. He stayed loyal all those years. Obviously i was over the moon in 2013 and celebrating the win last year for the 1st time with my young daughter was awesome, but they weren't the same as 02 when I got to watch a Roosters premiership with dad
Nice story - love the intergenerational support through so many eras

              Yeah, Louis. Warner as well.

So - Aus were 8 for not many and then the bloke who'd been rubbed out for more than a year bats his country to victory. As big a comeback as you'll ever see.

I can remember the Cleal brothers playing for Scone in northern division in the late seventies . They absolutely terrorised a touring Pommy side who had never seen fast , 6'4" wingers weighing upward of 17 stone .

I don’t think anyone had seen wingers that BIG back then

Put yourself in the Pommy's boots. You just get smashed by some huge flying 17 stone bearded bushranger and you get up to play the ball and you're now seeing double. There's another bloke standing over there who looks exactly the same. Pity Les never like the city. They did line up a few times together for us. Could've been a sensational double act.
