Titans, Raiders in Canberra & the unpredictable Warriors over the next 3 weeks without Cordner, SST, Friend & JWH for the Titans game. How many will they win over the next 3 weeks?

So your saying it could be 1 from 3?

That said, I've quite literally never seen us win in Canberra since moving here. Canberra are one of those unorthodox teams that will niggle you to death.
Long story short:
- They will be allowed to hold onto us forever in tackles so we'll get no quick ball (they will get the 'HEEEEELD.... [10 SECONDS PASS]... RELEASE... [10 MORE SECONDS PASS]' treatment that everybody gets against us. Conversely, we'll get penalised heaps early on (without warning) when they're late in the tackle count. This will lead to a few easy piggyback tries that'll be tough to catch up with as they'll choke our go-forward momentum with dodgy tackles (and get away with it).
- The tries won't be smart at all. They'll be things like 'OH MY GOD, AFTER 6 CONSECUTIVE PENALTIES ON OUR LINE WHAT GENIUS!!!! JOSH PAPALII JUST MARCHES IN THROUGH A GAPING HOLE IN OUR TIRED, PENALTY-DAMAGED DEFENCE!!!!' There's always a full spaz Papalii try that'll get talked up as genius, which must be pretty frustrating coz it's like OMFG... the fattest man on their team just stood on the wing and called for the ball completely unmarked. HOW?!?!? WE ARE SO CR@P!!!
- We'll probably score more tries but still be behind because they'll convert all their tries and get a few free penalties from right in front. Our tries will be out wide (freakish efforts from outside backs v basic, big dude crashes straight through the middle after 6 consecutive penalties kinda tries).
- We'll run out of time. The Raiders' ground staff are so frigging amateur with the clocks!!! When the Raiders need more time, the clock will stop before the play has even stopped (and at any time during the match, not just the last 5 minutes). Whereas if we have 1 final charge with 2 minutes to go... the Raiders will kick the ball out or something, the clock will keep ticking and by the time the ball's live again there will be 15 seconds to go (rather than 2 minutes). ALWAYS happens in Canberra... they ALWAYS fiddle the clock like that!!!
- I'll still show up because we have to win in Canberra eventually. This year though? I dunno...Last edited by ism22; 08-01-2019, 11:26 PM.

I know where you are coming from tho and it was evident last week against the Pamfers which is why Jimmy and Ivan threw their tanties. That said, if they play that way and get away with it, well done to them. We need to find a way to be better which I am confident that we are and we will.
As for Papa, yep, he is the ultimate Costco pizza loving lump of a lad but they do play him well. Cant blame him for being the recipient of good field position (warranted or not). That try he scored last week off Hodgo was actually brilliant. Not because of his work but because of the way Hodgo held up and pumped the pass to create the hole that he ran into. Its one thing to get the field position and its another to capitalize on it. We sometimes fail in that area.
The good thing is that the game is on Sunday arvo so the weather shouldnt be too much of a factor considering we have had a very warm winter down here. If it was a night game, forget it. Dont even bother showing up.
Im actually hoping BJ plays as I reckon he will be completely underdone and we should be pretty good down that side.
I cant wait to get out there for it. Its going to be awesome!FVCK CANCER
