  • Can’t catch a break

Sounds like SST and Cordner will be out for a while, especially Tauk.

Tough ask going down to Canberra in two weeks without them available.

Just can’t catch a break this season

Injuries play a major part in why its so hard to go B2B.

I'd like to know what they feed their players down in Melbourne. Barely a serious injury in almost two years now.

Good for them but can we have some of that please.

Maybe they have been training with Shayna Jack?

Both Sio Siua Taukeiaho and Boyd Cordner failed to finish the Roosters game today with calf injuries. Cordner’s was reportedly more precautionary, whilst Taukeiaho’s seemed more severe. General recovery guide (likely Grade 1-2): Gr1: 1-3wks Gr2: 3-6wks #NRLBulldogsRoosters

“It won’t be long but enough to annoy us for a couple of weeks,” confirmed Roosters coach Trent Robinson.

Manly,Souths,Canberra and others all have had or have injuries to top players, time to start winning with the team we have, we may never have a fully fit team, and even without them we should have the class to cover better than other teams.

Cordner picks up a calf injury every year after/around Origin
                ..it’ll be interesting to see

All teams have injuries... look at the vermin without their grub Sam, their fullback Johnston, their Twin grubs out, Manly have had Turbo out most of the season, Raiders have had their problems, Penrith and so on. We can’t avoid injuries but stupid hits/tackles that get suspended we can do without.

According to Matty Johns and Brett Finch, when the top players down in Melbourne need a rest, rather than missing a game, Bellamy gives them the week off at training to allow their bodies an extended break. Not a bad thought process seeing as though their top players rarely go down with serious injuries
