  • I can't see JWH being charged for either of those two incidents. I was surprised both were penalties.

We did enough today. We had some moments in the first half and then took the foot off the accelerator. It looks like today's assignment was to test out our right side attack.

There is no need to go full on intensity at this stage. I expect a similar game against the Titans next week before we start to pick it up against a contender in Canberra.

Hopefully injuries are kind to us and we will go close. Looks like we might have a few out injured next week.

      • Butcher deserves some praise for playing with a broken rib, hopefully he can play next week. Been one of our best.

        • Well I'm glad that is out of the way and we cracked it for a win , and hopefully TKO isn't a major injury . Give me a game against top opposition any day . Many missed opportunities today but a win is a win . Go Chooks

sick of flogs like you that can’t handle the truth
I don't think he is on that much coin.

The Raiders will be kicking their lips, 9 day rest ahead of no Cordner, no Jake, SST? Who else

I would love to believe that he isn’t. That’s what’s being reported everywhere though.

Obviously you'll need to fire in the finals. But that's exactly the mentality you don't want the team to have. Otherwise, what incentive would you have for the team to play at all on the regular season?

Robbo has said it before, if you want to win the comp you need to play like premiers now. Today we were playing with arrogance

The only one who said he was on a million was a bitter Shane Richardson.

Most reported 700-800k which sounds far more realistic.

                      • I missed the game. How bad is TKO'S injury?

Calf strain by the sounds of it. Noting official yet though.

                          Generaly 2 weeks off.

                          • So next week we will have Cordner, SST and JWH out. Butcher possibly out. Liu and Tetevano props, Crichton second row - if no Butcher. Bench could be Sitili, Fatmersili, Collins and not sure who fourth would be. Maybe Lam.

                              100%.

To win the comp we'll need a repeat of the 'never say die' defence we displayed vs Souffs in last year's Prelim.

We held them tryless and simply refused to let them score through sheer willpower.

That imo is not something you can just switch on or off like a tap. It's a level of desire and commitment that you build towards.

And I'd say that if we want a repeat then the Raiders away game in two weeks will be a good starting point.

But if the players think they'll be able to flick that switch come finals wk 1 then they'll be sadly mistaken and Robbo knows it.

                              • No excuses next wee. If we don’t put a cricket score on the Tits, it will be disappointing.
