Smith is a legend I wish we had a smart player like him. Master manipulator.

It's a fair point when it comes to stats. Without going into what was in his control...etc, it's doubtful that future athletes will have the opportunity to play for a club that's had so many premierships stripped due to systematic rorting. When it comes to points scored and stuff, it's not really fair to include points from invalid wins IMO because like... of course you'll have more points if your team cheated for 5 years!

IMO at very least the NRL should publish his stats without those years, with a big star saying 'years blah to blah ruled invalid'.

He's played 400 games I'll give him that, but IMO the stats are heavily padded and no future 400 game players should have to compete against his raw stats.

i'm shocked to see how many penalties going Storms way considering that was Saint's home ground.

I thought this thread was quite valid considering we were on the receiving end the previous week and patter seems to be developing.

I wonder if this sort of 'gamesmanship' could come round to bite a side either trying to make the eight or in fact cost someone during the finals?

I don't get it. Just about every player in the nrl will have a crack at milking a penalty once or twice a game. Smith is a real pro in that department. playing 400 games , I suppose hes had plenty of practice. It's always been part of the game and always will be .

Bingo. Ref smiff walked off the mark and *should* have been penalised, not Radley.

Did you see the look of sheer disbelief on Radleys face. He couldnt work out or believe what had just happened.
