It is an interesting question about what does Robbo see in Latrell at 5/8.
I thought Morris had a top game on Friday night other than him hogging the ball when he should have passed it to Tupou but if Latrell had of been played where Morris did I think the Roosters would have won the game. Latrell 1 on 1 out a little wider is almost impossible to stop.

I agree. I think he is wasted at 5/8.

Met Lattrell for the first time today. He was at Bear Park with his young family. What a lovely young man he seems to be.

Asked him if Keary was back this week and he said "Not sure actually". Then said don't worry I'll play five eighth!

Nothing phases him, but he can't wait to get out on the new stadium this Friday whatever number is on his back.

I think Latrell is the best option at 5/8 atm if we have a half out. With BMoz, Joey, Hall and Toops we have top quality 3/4s, so it's a direct choice between Latrell and Hutch or Lam.

Believe centre is Latrell's best position atm but better to have 5 top players in the 3/4s and 5/8 than 4 top players in the 3/4s and a reserve grader at 5/8.

Would Love to see Lam start a game with Cronk or Keary , 5 or 10 minutes is ridiculous , we have nothing to loose , Latrell is not a 5/8

I'd thought Lam was worth a go, but if it's true we're going to sign Flanagan for next year the guys who see Lam train every day have doubts about him.

If we had one of our back 5 out (as well as a half) I'd go Lam at 5/8.

We tried Hastings, Watson, Matterson and Nikorima in one season trying to replace Maloney.

I don't think it's so much doubt as it is having a plan b.

Maybe - if we're not paying Kyle a lot. Lam was unlucky to have done his wrist when he did. Couple of good games and we'd be having a very different conversation.

It's not just the clean early ball, it's also the lack of threat by the guys that have been providing the ball. Keary's speed worries defences and keeps them honest which opens up more space for Latrell. When Hutchison was there, defences were drifting off him much earlier safe in the knowledge that he wouldn't open them up like Keary does.

                      Probably still laughing at breakfast.
I don't think so. We have a lot more improvement in us than them. Just like last year. I would guess they want to avoid us at all costs because we are the only side that has their measure.

Nice story. He's very humble and quite shy, which is exactly the opposite you would expect from the coverage of him in the press.

I don't think it's easy being Bondi boy.

If you were a Storm fan you'd say that the Storm only just managed to beat the Roosters even though the Roosters had so many players out and that the Storm really had to lift their game if they wanted to make the top eight.
