He may well be telling the truth but has any player ever spoken badly about his club while still contracted to them? Ever?

We can all speculate with everyone else but none of us know the truth. And we won’t know the truth until our club or a rival club makes an official announcement saying he has re-signed or signed.

I think this article really goes to show to value of a no-dickheads and no bullshit policy & culture. And it starts at the top.

Due to the culture he has created + the obvious success, i'd rate Robbo as the most important Chooks signing of the last 50 years. Over Freddy, over everyone.

Cronk, Maubs, Keary, Teddy, JWH, Cords - these fellas in the leadership group really have their heads screwed on properly, have some maturity and are genuinely top blokes.

Compare it now to 10 years ago. We had Freddy as coach and we were rife with ill-discipline on and off the field. It was a fking circus to be frank - Mason, O'Meley, Sa, Myles, FPN, and a pissed up Mitch Pearce.

Heart warming to see the club where it is now. Fantastic stuff.

It's a story that pours water on the fires and hopefully shuts down some of the wild speculation. Lot's of stuff got out of hand. Latrell's split with Deacon, the Inglis retirement and Souths rumours until Jimmy the Jet arrived. Latrell's omission from Game II due to lack of consistency and mind not focused for that intensity. The whole Freddy and Latrell thing blown up out of proportion.

Hopefully it's time to get back to footy. The Roosters to rediscover their mojo with Latrell and Gus a big part. NSW to take that second game. And with these things put to bed - back to back premierships. Then let the negotiations begin, with the interests of the whole team also in mind. Trust in Trent and Nick. No choice about that one.

He would be made to go elsewhere. What club is better than ESDRLC?

I think hes on 800k now im sure come november we can raise that to 1 mill?the promise of being fairly treat3ed and respected by all at our club is very enticing, hes only thinking of his families future for the cash, 8u7nderstandable!no we wont get into a bidding war he knows that but i just hope unlike rts hes gives us last option ?I think hes a bit smarter than trs who was easily swayed by his cousins on the ab tour?

I think topping up his 2020 contract by another 100-150k and a 3-4 extension on 800k with added TPA will be a great result for both lattrell and the club.

I hope we don't pay 1mil per season to keep him, 3 year extension for 2.4mil would be a good deal for both parties in my opinion

I think if it comes down to money its going to be hard to keep him. When you see Parra paying 800k a year for the human turnstile Mitchell Moses it would be hard for Latrell to accept anything under 1 million a year. The club has too many quality young players coming through just to shed them for 1 player

He's certainly started off with some promising clients. Must have some selling power.
