Just went through captains run photos and there were plenty with Cronk and Tetevano (knee strapping).

Get the feeling Trent is employing a rotation policy. If any code needs it, it’s league with all the collision

What injury does he have? An actual injury or just niggling stuff that players carry all season and a smart coach will find the best possible time to rest them without disrupting the whole team at once??

I hope Lamb does well against his old club, huge test, but every reason for him to be up for this. I also hope the pressure of knowing that any mistake, no matter how small, will have young LAMB thrown to the WOLVES by the merciless Chookpen ex SPURTS isn't too much for him.

Lamb will dominate against the club that threw him aside once Pearce signed with them.

Interesting if there has been a Lamb & a Butcher in the same side???

Anyone else think that this would have been a decision made at the start of the year? Particularly with Lamb against the team that did not want him, and Keary soon to be unavailable.

It's rare but can understand if Lamb looks a little nervous...

Personally I hope Lamb Chops them up, but if Lamb Shanks one, people will probably want to Roast Lamb.

Roland Butcher, the English cricketer, played grade cricket in Sydney in the 80s and was dismissed by a leggie with the name of Baker but, no, he wasn't caught by A. Candlestickmaker.

Pearce may do the same to the club that undermined him too.

Pretty sure he split with his missus a little while ago. Related maybe.

On a side note, she sat right behind me at last year's GF and is a pretty good looker!

Difference being Pearce had his chance last year and was far from dominant against the Roosters..

Brock will get his first crack tonight and I think he will flourish.

Undermined? I don't see how Pearce was treated as being undermined. But yes, pearce may play well against the Roosters as much as Lamb may play well against the knoughts.

The decision is an interesting one and the timing certainly speaks to long-term thinking.
