Edit: Billy Smith. WTF is that? Also, why no mention of Garvey? Did his hammie and was gonna be back by trials. Now he's just gone.

Why? IMO this assumes that Hall's better. They are both about the same age and Morris has way more experience. I hope Hall's awesome but I dunno...

Garvey left the Roosters before the season started.

Taking time away from the game due to injuries, hence why Verrills is now in the top 30.

Verills impressed for me against Melbourne. He should be starting hooker IMO, Rads plays 80 at both lock and hooker.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results

It certainly was. I would like to see him get another chance off the bench against the Tigpies.

I cant see Ryan Hall playing any exceptional football this year because it takes about a year for blokes to get their confidence back after such a big injury .

              Hall on the bench.

During SOO, I think Bmoz will be our fullback and Hall will be on the wing.
                Ikuvalu to centre.

Wasn’t Ikuvalu NSW cup centre of the year in 2017? It’ll be interesting to see him play there during origin if need be

Give the youngster more.Against an average Tigers side it's the best time to do it

Verills is not in top 30 and needs exemption from NRL to play, which did happen for Melb. He doesn't do much for the Bears from what I have seen. Happy to use Radley for a few more weeks at least. Hall will play as soon as he is ready Morris knows he is the 3rd man of the wheel if everyone is fit. You will play a $600k player before a $180k player whenever possible. Hall is a beast and has broken every record in the gym possible.

Verrills has been named on the extended bench for the last 2 weeks, that's after the Melbourne game. So doesn't that mean he has been available for those two games. According to Wikipedia he IS in the top 30.

I think Morris is ahead of Hall, who has been out for an extended period with injury. Morris has performed at least as well as Hall over his career and more recently absolutely stared for us in the World Club Challenge.

Will be interesting to see what Hall can actually do. Only seen him play in a coulpe of SL replays on fox. And caz it was SL I didn't really pay attention.

Other than SOO I dare say that they both play if Robbo wants to give either Latrell or Teddy a rest before the finals.

On the Chooks website it shows Verrills in the top 30 squad - I assume he was promoted when Garvie dropped out due to his ongoing injury issues. So Verrills should be available for selection without any input from NRL HQ. Will be interesting to see if he gets any game time over the next few weeks.

Am looking forward to seeing Ryan Hall in Chooks colours once he has clearance to come back from that ACL injury.
